September 7 I read with some other writer colleagues here in my adopted home turf, and it is always wonderful to share the anticipation with the organizers and the sellers. I love getting up in front of people and reading. It is narcissistic and egotistical but I just have a blast and I love answering questions about writing, about my process, about the journey. I love free coffee and croissants. I love rubbing shoulders with such accomplished writers and sharing the stage with them. It is thrilling and overwhelming.

The end of August and just over a month until STRIP is printed. I am planning a launch a Books and Company in Picton on the 1st of November, and subsequent events in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. I hope to visit the east and west coasts in the new year. In the meantime I have sent off one fo my other novels to a small Canadian publisher who may be interested. A chapter from the novel had been published in “Voice from the Planet,” a literary anthology published by Harvard Square Editions.

Early August Much to be done before the launch of Strip. Deciding right now, where to do readings and signings in Canada.

I am also working on the finishing touches of one other novel, more commercial in flavour, I think. It’s hard right now to decide which way to turn — work on the novel? The collection of short stories? A grant application?

We got a great review #international authors #anthology
